img_3234Laura Andrea is a reluctant poet, a frustrated fiction writer, and a wannabe cook. She is originally from Carolina, Puerto Rico and wishes going back didn’t hurt as much as it does.

She writes about identity, latinidad, queerness, mental health, pop culture, querer, and finding. Her fluency in both English and Spanish seep into her writing and make it e(spanglish) even when limiting herself to one. Her main genre is fiction, but has lately tackled poetry and non-fiction more often.

She also runs a reggaetón blog Con Dembow. Follow her on Instagram and Twitter for updates on her day to day.
